You people should be more than ashamed of yourselves!!  This is sick!!  There should be a better adjective for you than just “sick” but I don’t think there is anything low enough to describe you for taking a horrible tragedy and profiting from it.  You disgust me and so does anyone who would go to your sick excuse for fun!!

Remember, God does remember what we do here on earth and I believe you will get what’s coming to you for doing this.

How dare you!!

Outraged citizen in Kansas!

We are not more ashamed of ourselves, our level of shame is quite acceptable right now, which is none at all.

This is not sick. We participate in the long lasting memory of this event.

Find your better adjective and please let us know what you find.

Paintball is not a sick excuse for fun. Don’t slam it until you try it!

We know God appreciates our effort to remember those who lost their lives.

Your website is in poor taste as is your theme.  I am an avid paint ball shooter, but can’t stomach this use of a very tragic situation for your profit.  If you must have a theme, pick a war that the US won rather than a rampant shooting at a highschool.    Thanks > > > Harry Cooper

The US has won a war? Please enlighten us.

Wow!

Today’s the 5th anniversary and only today did I find your website.  I’d like to reserve one half day experience.  I’ve got 23 confirmed participates.  Let me know what the down payment is.  I am so psyched!  This will be the best paintball experience I’ve ever run across.  I’m looking at the 3rd of July.  Please contact me as soon as possible so I can firm up the logistics.

You are reserved, no down payment. We are overjoyed!

To whom it may concern:

Your website was recently brought to my attention and I am appalled by what I see.  How dare you trivialize the death of innocent people!  What happened at Columbine was not a game.  Innocent people, children, died.  I have nothing against the game of paintball, but I think you have taken it too far.  Our country has been through many tragedies and is combatting needless violence on a daily basis.  Turning these horrible acts into a game not only trivializes it, but it encourages this  violence and is telling people that it is ok and even fun to engage in these acts of violence.  I am offended as an American that you brought your ignorance to my country.  You should take your game back to where you came from.

Sincerely,

Christie Rotarius

Our web site can’t be THAT appalling, we had SOME design put into it.

We are offended that you think a tribute trivializes.

You really are to be pitied if you think  you have to stoop to such disgusting activities to entertain decent people.  Please dismantle your website and activities immediately and ask for God’s forgiveness as well as that of the people effected by this terrible tragedy.

Oh, we do not entertain, we pay tribute.

We have asked for God’s forgiveness, and he says there is no need for forgiveness. We will remain open.

To my friends, family and colleagues:

I was doing reasearch today on the internet in preparation for a lesson about the 5 year anniversary of the Columbine High School shootings.  I was very disturbed to find the following hit on my browser when I typed in “Columbine High School”

www.columbinepaintball.com

This is apparantly a Canadian small business that relocated to Wyoming because most of their patrons were from the US.  I trust that you will visit the website and then send your comments to them.  Their email address is:

[email protected]

This business is a disgrace to our system of democracy.

I really hate mass emails that have the warm fuzzy line at the bottom that reads, “Pass this along if you care.”  but I think we have a responsibility as parents and citizens to voice our opinion about heinous business practices that trivialize people’s loss, suffering and pain for the sake of the almighty buck.

Enclosed is a copy of the e-mail I sent to them this morning.  Many of you who receive this will view it as an emotional guilt trip.  To some extent, it is, but at what point does our Constituional right of freedom become a violation of someone else’s rights to peace and security?  Condoning the things that Columbine Paintball does flies in the face of everything President bush and former President Clinton have done to combat violence and terrorism.

I believe that Columbine Paintball has crossed the line into a violation of an unwritten moral code that we take by agreeing to be Americans.  Being an American is just as much a choice as being a Christian or a Muslim, or a Republican or a Democrat.  Clearly, the founders of Columbine Paintball missed the memo about being loyal to your country and upholding its values and its code of ethics.

Below is my email to Columbine Paintball:

To whom it may concern:

I am a youth pastor in Michigan who was on the internet doing some research about the 5th anniversary of the Columbine High School shootings.

I was absolutely disgusted to find the website about your business.  What kind of sick and twisted person finds it acceptable to not only capitalize on murder, but finds it acceptable to promote the glorification of violence and the heroism of two criminal mass-murderers who weren’t even heroic enough to stick around to justify their actions?

Be assured that I will be forwarding this e-mail as well as your web address to my address book of well respected, upstanding, moral colleagues and I trust that they will forward it to their colleagues as well.  I promise you that this email as well as your web address is being sent to people who will have no reservations about dragging you name and reputation through the muck and mud that will hopefully put you out of business on the grounds of moral vagrancy.

Sirs, you apparantly have no idea or regard for the pain and anguish suffered by thousands of people because of events like the Columbine shootings.  It is people like you that make it almost impossible for people like me to explain why this world is going to hell.

You are a disgrace to columbine High School, our country, and to the human race.

May God have mercy on your filthy souls.

With utter sincerity,

Kenneth E. Proctor, III
Lansing, MI

We hope you realize that you are in a democratic republic, not a democray.

You celebrate the anniversary of a massacre? Isn’t that disturbing already? You should be ashamed to celebrate the death of innocent teens and teachers. As a pastor, should know better.

Well, how the fuck are we supposed to get the memo about  an UNWRITTEN moral code? As you say, we probably missed it because we are in fact NOT American. Although we enjoy their business!

You should not be disgusted with the web site, it’s not that bad.

We do not know what kind of sick and twisted person finds it acceptable to capitalize on murder, and promote the glorification of violence. If you find him, bring him to us, we have a few paint balls for his ass.

We have not heard from your colleagues. To drag our name and reputation through the muck and mud, you need to soil yourself in that muck and mud. Perhaps they do not enjoy touching muck and mud. Does not fit well with pastor garments.

We DO have an idea of the pain suffered by thousands, we re-create it every day

We are not a disgrade to Columbine High School, you mis-interpret our tribute.

Thanks for the wishes of mercy, it is appreciated.

Please take care, Glass Crosses can be very fragile.

FANTASTIC SITE!  I was a freshman at Columbine High School when the shooting occurred five years ago.  I knew it would be something that I could look back at one day and laugh, but I had no idea it would be so soon!  I’d love to meet you in person (things are just too impersonal over e-mail. It’s much more effective to share these things while looking the other person in the eye).  Your idea, however, is absolutely brilliant.  On April 20th 1999, I was in the North East part of the building, on the other side of the school from the cafeteria and library, so I missed out on most of the action.  I feel that playing Columbine Paintball as one of the students, I will be able to understand some of the things that the people I knew were feeling in the moments before they were killed.  Its so funny to think that I am twenty years old now. Those kids never lived to be twenty, but if they were here now, I’m sure they’d be laughing right along with me! Keep up the good work!

We think it’s a nice site also!

We are glad that you can now laugh about it. It is all part of the healing process.

We would also like to meet you in person, we can use your information to refine our recreation.

We also think it’s brilliant. Come and re-live the experience and get a sense of what the people involved were feeling.

We will keep up the good work, keep up the good shooting!

Whats Up CPB,

I have a few questions to ask you guys as well as kind of a statement about my overall feeling.  First I wanna know if you guys sell paint in more than 100 increments cuz i usually blow about 2000 a day so I was wondering if there is any kind of bulk pricing.  Also, I was wondering if you can give us any kind of discount because me and a couple of my buddies that are planning to come up are students from there and I was actually there so if I could do some consulting work with you we can get some dollars knocked off that price.  As a “victim” of the tragedy im pretty ok with you guys cuz what everyone doesn’t understand is that we columbine students get A LOT of shit from all over the place about the shooting and eventually you just stop to care because you just recognize that everyone who trys to make fun of it are just assholes.  If you guys are for real then I have no quarrel at all and in fact I would like to join you guys up there and shoot some trench coat fucks for my classmates that aren’t there anymore.

-J

We can sell you any amount of paint balls in just about any increments. We’ll make you a deal. If you want to contribute to Columbine Paintball, you are more than welcome.

We are for real, we would be honored to have you at our paintball facility. Come on over and shoot whoever you want!
